Bike Suspension Tuning, Maintenance and Rebuilds

Goldsmiths Sports in Big Bear Lake offers a full service Bike Shop including all suspension tuning, maintenance and rebuilding services. Bike Forks and Shocks should be inspected and/or rebuilt every 2 years and our professional bicycle mechanics can help you understand exactly what your bike needs to keep you riding happy! Bring your bike by Goldsmiths and we can inspect, tune and rebuild your Bike Forks and Shocks as needed!

Goldsmiths Sports can help you dial in your bike forks on any full suspension or hardtail mountain bike. From Fox, Rockshox, Ohlins and more, we can handle any fork you throw at us! We offer Silver ($100) and Gold ($150) Fork Rebuilds, with Silver including new seals and fluids, and Gold including full dampner rebuilding. Parts and service items may need to be ordered for your particular fork, so give us a call so we can be totally prepared to get right to work when you bring your bike in!

If your rear shock isn’t holding up as well as it used to, or its bouncy or slow to rebound you likely need a rebuild. You’re in luck! Goldsmiths can help you rebuild your rear shock in-house with our professional team of bike mechanics. We offer full Rebuilds of full suspension mountain bike shocks including a Silver Rebuild ($150) or a Gold Rebuild ($200). Gold Rebuilds include full dissembly and replacement of all o-rings, etc in the dampner. We can also help you dial in your shock by tuning all dials, etc. or replacing coils to match your riding style and rider weight!
